Sales and Marketing Codasat Canada's team of experienced representatives cover retail and wholesale accounts across Canada. An additional sales team is responsible for non-traditional accounts. Codasat Canada also attends both national and regional book and gift shows. Our accounts include Indigo/Chapters, Costco, Business Depot, two national trade wholesalers and many more. Representatives call on all of the largest independent bookstores, university and college bookstores and library systems. Academic sales are handled by a separate team of college representatives. Marketing services such as advertising, review copy mailing, and author tours are available upon request. Attendance at academic conferences is arranged through the University of Toronto Press. Inventory Control and Management Inventory levels and control of inventory movement is maintained by Codasat Canada in consultation with client publishers. Distribution Services Codasat Canada uses the University of Toronto Press Distribution (UTP) for distribution services. The UTP warehouse is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada with a satellite warehouse in Buffalo, New York which accepts shipments from client publishers and arranges cross-border shipments. University of Toronto Press Distribution guarantees all customer receivables. UTP services include billing, shipping, collection, and returns processing. |
